With just shy of a day under their belts, the twins are doing great. V is on track to be released from postpartum tomorrow. The twins are still looking good, being supplied by a combo of IV and mom’s milk. Breathing, glucose, and all that jazz look good with no signs of infection or anything else negatively noteworthy.

Introducing Ana and Dorothy
Ana Gonzalez Kraft & Dorothy Gonzalez Kraft were born today at 3:32 pm and 3:37 pm, weighing 5 lbs, 9 ounces and 5 lbs even, respectively.
Mom did great and is well. The twins are doing fantastic, but since they were born a bit early, they’re required to be guests of the NICU.
Being early, we weren’t packed yet and I left the cable to connect the DSLR camera, so just cell phone pictures for now.
All doing good.
Born five minutes apart. All are healthy and good. Details and pics soon.
Doing Good, No Babies Yet
NICU consult came in; twins at 34w5d, which is an auto-admit to NICU at this hospital.
Assuming all is well, they’re telling us to prepare for a week stay.
Slow and steady.
At Hospital
At hospital, coming early. Vitals are good so far.
Thanksgiving 2014
The initial plan was to head to La Casa de Gonzalez and let them do almost all of the work. Mrs. G has taken ill so, we made a switch to our place with Mr. G bringing some of what was planned there to us.
V tried a new apple pie recipe (vegan for O), but it was a dud. The vegan pumpkin pie from Whole Foods ended up being recalled for undeclared walnuts, which I’m glad we saw the recall notice since O is allergic to them as well.
Nice meal and the dishes are already done.
Dino Dig
Being a dad means…
Keeping character when your daughter pukes like crazy while she’s sitting on the toilet.
Lost Bracelet
MC lost her new bracelet at school on the first day she wore it. Until bed time when she found it on her arm, hidden up her arm under her sleeve.
3D Ultrasound
The twins had a 3D ultrasound today. They were huddled too close, so we couldn’t snap a good photo.
The doctor surprised himself by being able to, very clearly, see that they have full heads of hair already.
