Our current three-year old:
“tank tok” for any of her tank tops.
I got on to her the other day for ignoring us (“don’t go upstairs” she goes upstairs type thing). When she came over, I asked her to apologize to me and we ask that the kids say why they’re apologizing.
“I’m sorry Dad for making you mean”
We let the girls start dressing in Halloween clothes and watching Halloween movies on October 1st.
Every day since, Ruth has woken up proclaiming “It is the first day of Halloween!”
A few of the girls did a first aid training session. Afterwards…
Me: So you know first aid now?
MC: Yup!
Me: You know what you’d do if I trip and cut my head open?
MC: No, you’d die.
V: Dorothy, please go pick up that toy you were playing with.
:: Ana runs over to pick it up. ::
V: Ana, is your name Dorothy?
Ana: No, Dorothy is my sister over there.
